There's minor weirdness as to use things like Ruby version control via Homebrew, you end up running the x86 version even though Ruby has a native M1 interpreter. Zeplin however limits you to just 3 projects for 19 dollars. Something like Avocode is better since it offers unlimited projects for a pretty low monthly price (16). If I did need more projects, I probably wouldn't use Zeplin, as it starts getting very expensive quickly. I'm still on my 2017 MacBook Pro for work as that's the one my job has provided me but been using the M1 personally. I've personally never heard any complaints from my developers either. The big downside is Node/Homebrew is x86, thus missing out on performance right now. Haven't used MAMP in many years as Docker makes so much more sense but on my M1 Node, VS Code (the M1 version), Homebrew, Docker, Ruby etc all work.
